Random MLS Numbers

MLS Numbers are assigned randomly.

Duplicate Listing Check

Section 1 of the PPMLS Rules and Regulations states that the PPMLS will not accept multiple listings for a single location within the same Category (Res, Land, Farm, etc.).  Therefore, when a new listing is submitted to PPMLS, the TEMPO® system will check the Category and Address for each new listing submitted.  If there is a matching address already in the system with a Status of A, A#, TW, P, UCSS or UC, the system will not allow the new listing to be entered.

DOM & CDOM (Days On Market & Cumulative Days On Market)

When a listing is entered into the PPMLS system, the system will look at the Category and the Address for the new listing being entered.  The system will then compare the address to the off market listings within that Category.  If the property address has been on the market within the past 30 days, a CDOM value will be calculated.  CDOM is the DOM for the now off-market listing PLUS the DOM for the current listing.  DOM reflects the days on market for the current listing only.
