The Real Estate Information Services Commercial Committee and RCIS are pleased to provide a new Broadcast Email program is now enabled and ready for immediate use.

 

Upon recommendation of the RCIS Executive Committee, there were 4 Broadcast Email lists created. They are:

General

Retail

Industrial

Office

 

All current RCIS members have been added to each of these 4 lists. Participation in each of the lists is entirely voluntary. Users have the option of only participating in one or two of the lists, or all four of them.

 

To Subscribe or Unsubscribe to one of these Broadcast Email lists, send an email to lhipps@coscommercial.com . Be sure to indicate which list(s) that you want to subscribe or unsubscribe to. Please allow 3 business days to complete the "subscribe" or unsubscribe" request.

 

Using the Email Lists is very easy. You do not need to log on to the database to send a Broadcast email out. Simply address an email message to the desired "list", include a subject and message and then send it.

 

The email addresses of the lists are:

office@commercial.ppar.com

needs@commercial.ppar.com

• Only RCIS members themselves may participate on the email lists. Non-RCIS members in your office, secretaries and others cannot be added to the lists. The lists are strictly a personal benefit of your membership in RCIS.

• When sending email to the General@commercial.ppar.com, retail@commercial.ppar.com, office@ppar.com or industrial@ppar.com email lists, you must include your PPCIE listing number being advertised. This must be added anywhere in the body of your message like this: ppcie# xxxxxx - where xxxxxx is the actually listing number for your property being advertised.

• The new email list, needs@commercial.ppar.com is the only list that does not require you to include the PPCIE# in the body of the message. But this list should not be used to advertise your properties either.

Please note that in order to send mail to one of the broadcasts "lists", the email message MUST originate from the email address that you registered with RCIS. In other words, if your hotmail.com email address is what you registered with RCIS on your annual RCIS membership application, then the email message to the list subscribers must come from that address and not from your office or any other email address. If you attempt to send a message to the list from any other address except the RCIS registered address, then the email message will be returned to you as "rejected".

 

Once sent, your message is immediately delivered to all list subscribers.

 

In order to prevent you from being "spammed" from a mailing list, only subscribers to a list can send messages.
