New NAR Webpage on Short Sales – NAR has set up a webpage on short sales. REALTORS® who are new to short sales can learn the basics and watch webinars to increase their knowledge. The site also includes information about NAR’s advocacy efforts to improve the process.

PPMLS Tempo® System programming “Publish” for June 23, 2009. Updates/changes listed below:

Add/Edit

new field: Display Address on Internet - this field will default to "Yes" REALTOR.com and Gazette.com will receive listing address and could display it on their websites. If seller does not want address to display, listing agent is responsible for changing Display Address on Internet field choice to "No". The MarketLinx provided IDX Standard Framing site is still available. However, it will display the listing address if Display Address on Internet field choice is "Yes". Street Number- decimal ".5" will be allowed. Well Type: Res, Farm, Income, Land, All: removed choice “Household/Domestic” from pick list and added choices “Household”, “Household with Rider” and “Domestic”. (This is a result of a request to the RSC Board of Directors.) Floors -  "Wood Laminate" added to pick list. Garage Amenities - "Even with Main Level" added to pick list. Structure - "Framed On Lot" added to pick list. Misc. Items -  "Elevator" removed from pick list (this was a duplicate choice, already exists in Handicap).

Photo Upload - upload file size increased to 1024 kb (1 mb).

Search/Reports

Quick Search - "Zip Code" and "Reported Date" added to all Quick Search screens. Quick Search - "Above Grade Sq. Ft." added to Res, Farm and Rental Quick Search screens. Client Web - listings with status S, WC or X will be removed from Favorites, Possibilities and Rejects. Co-List information (ID, phone, fax, name, email) will not display if Co-Listing agent is Inactive. If Listing Agent is Inactive and Office is Active, “Contact Office” will display in place of the Salesman Name. Optional Disclosures renamed to "Optional Notices". Mandatory Disclosures renamed to "PPMLS Required Disclosures/Notices" (to avoid confusion with state-mandated disclosures).

Non-Functional issues fixed

the Off Market Date will now display on Commercial-long reports for listings with Leased status. Showing Report - Rental-report formatting is corrected. Long Reports - fix "...listing is no longer in the Tempo system" error.
