REALTORS® PROPERTY RESOURCE – NAR’s parcel-centric database is in beta test in 12 locations through July. At the conclusion of the beta test, NAR will begin live roll-outs first with the beta test sites, then sites where the MLS has negotiated a data license agreement with RPR, then other regions. The process could take 5-6 years. RSC is currently negotiating the license agreement. Participation is contingent upon a satisfactory negotiation of several key issues.

AUCTION PROPERTIES – Section 1.7 of the PPMLS Rules currently states, “All property to be sold by auction shall be input with a Listing Price equal to $1.00.” At their meeting on May 19, 2010, the RSC Board of Directors created the following policy for sold auctioned properties, “That when an auction property is sold and closed, the Listing Price of $1.00 shall be changed to the same value as the Sold Price.” This action was intended to make sold auctioned properties more easily available for comps.

REMEMBER TO UPDATE LISTING STATUSES:
Section 1.6.2: If a purchase/sale contract has been signed by both buyer and seller, RSC will treat it as a binding contract, and the listing status

o  Remember that listings in the A# and UC statuses will auto-expire on their Expiration Dates. Be sure to get your written extensions prior to
             the Expiration Date.
Section 9.1.1.2, #2: Failure to update a listing from Pending to Sold could result in a $100 fine.
o  If you allowed your listing to expire while it was under contract, then after closing submit the Pending and Sold information to RSC for
             processing.
Section 2.5: Even with LS or EO listings, it is still the responsibility of the Listing Broker to submit the sold information. Non-compliance could
