PPMLS TEMPO® SYSTEM PUBLISH April 10, 2007 The PPMLS Tempo® System programming “Publish” tentatively scheduled for April 10, 2007 will include a number of major changes to the system; Multiple Login Prevention (MLP), new Navigation bar and drop down lists, Polygon, Radius, and Address Locator Searches, CDOM as a clickable link on Showing and Long reports, and the ability to select NOT for Subarea in Quick and Custom Search. MULTIPLE LOGIN PREVENTION (MLP):
The RSC Board of Directors understands that the MLS computer
system is a valuable tool that helps participants add value to the
services that they provide to their clients. The MLP program has
been implemented as another method to ensure that only paying
subscribers have access to this tool. This means that
the system will prevent the simultaneous
multiple use of a user login and password. With MLP, if a
user is logged into the PPMLS system and another user logs in using
the same credentials, then the first user is booted off the system.
The first user will be returned to a Tempo® Login page. If the
first user suspects unauthorized use of their login credentials,
then they should immediately log back in to PPMLS and change their
PPMLS password to another value, thus preventing the unauthorized
second user from accessing the PPMLS Tempo® system again. NAVIGATION: The Tempo® system has been updated with more “user-friendly” icons, drop down menus and fly-outs.
MAPPING SEARCH OPTIONS: There are a number of new mapping search options. Click here for instructions and screen shots.
CDOM LINK: You can quickly assess how long a property has been on the market from the CDOM number. However, you cannot determine if it has been listed by one or more brokers during this period, or if it had been temporarily off the market at any time during that period. Now you can click on CDOM and immediately go to the History Report to obtain more information on this property. SUBAREA ALLOWS “NOT” SEARCH: The MLS “Area” typically covers a large geographical region which may include subdivisions that are of no interest to your buyer. Now you have the option to exclude subdivisions by incorporating “Not” in to your Subarea search. PARK COUNTY TOP AND SIDE COORDINATES: When adding a new listing, if a valid four or eight digit tax schedule number is input (use preceding zeros if necessary), the Tempo® system will now assign a Top Coordinate and a Side Coordinate. These coordinate numbers correspond with the Top and Side coordinates printed on the new Park County map which is available in the PPAR REALTOR® store. If you have a Park County listing, please ensure that your listing has a valid schedule number so that it will be assigned a Top and Side coordinate, and can be retrieved by other users when they search by coordinate numbers.
