PPMLS UPDATE – IE7 10/20/2006 |
|
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT |
| CONCERNING: Internet Explorer 7 and the PPMLS TEMPO® System |
| What’s Happening |
| Microsoft has unexpectedly moved up the release date of Internet Explorer 7 and, as of October 19, 2006, the new version of the browser is available for download from Microsoft.com. Microsoft has also just announced it will begin pushing out Internet Explorer 7 through its Automatic Update service to all Windows XP users on November 1st. |
| First American MLS Solutions is committed to fully supporting IE7 and has been rigorously testing its MLS software against the Beta and Release Candidate versions of IE7 to ensure compatibility. However, it is very important that you be aware of a major issue we are still working on and how it may affect your members if they use IE7 to access the MLS. |
| The Issue |
| At this time, if users access TEMPO® using IE7, they may experience the following problem: when printing a multi-page Detailed Report, report pages break at incorrect locations. The report will still print in its entirety, but it will not be formatted correctly. |
| What FAMLS is Doing About It |
| FAMLS has almost completed a compatibility release to address this issue. All TEMPO® accounts will receive the software update over the next few weeks. |

| NOTE FROM RSC STAFF: At such time that FAMLS certifies that TEMPO® is compatible with IE7, we will provide a link for the IE7 download. This link will take you to a version of IE7 that has been pre-configured with the correct settings for the TEMPO® system. |
